***I'm partially here!!!***

My PC is halfway back on track. My old Hard Disk was partly dead BUT I was able to save some things and transfer them to the new HD. Went from a Maxtor 15Go to a Maxtor 80Go

I'm having some problem with the LG burner I bought (I don't know what's wrong but it doesn't work right now.) Plus the video card that I have sucks (a freind of mine lend me a cheep 16Mo card last year because I was starting to have problems with my ATI Expert 2000)and I have now reinstall Windows and the cards doesn't offer anything else than 640x480 and 16 colours!!!!! I worked before why doesn't it works now!

Still plenty off stuff to do and program to install before beeing able to say I'm back on track but at least I saved some of my stuff from the old disk.

I know what you mean. I have this incompability between the motherboard and the ATI Radeon video card. It will work normally, but as soon I try to play any high end game or watch Satellite video, it will freeze or malfunction after some minute. Was not able to pinpoint the issue, even though I have dowloaded latest drivers from all equipment installed.....

Have searched many, many sites Peter. Will check this one to see if I can get peace on mind. I don't want to believe that there is really an incompability issuse and that I have to switch to Nvidia......
